BIO

  • Future started out in 1973 as Future Farm Supplies, marketing agricultural chemicals, seed, fertilizer and equipment and parts
  • Mike Perovich purchased Future Farms in 1980
  • 1988, built first bulk station (5 tanks)
  • 1999, built first CPIC warehouse in Brownsville, which included warehousing, drum crushing, and repackaging
  • 1994, built terminal building, complete with tanks, scale and repackaging equipment for totes.
  • 1995, October 1st, sold retail business
  • 1995, Launched Future Transfer Co. Inc.
  • 1996, built additional warehouse, started warehousing and repackaging
  • 1995, Started to build the transportation and logistics portion of the business. Added more trucks & tankers to the fleet.
  • 1997, built additional warehouse and added more trucks and tankers to fleet.
  • 1998, added 10 liter packaging line
  • 1999, added more trucks and tankers
  • 2000, expanded Brownsville warehouse for additional warehousing
  • 2001, expanded Brownsville again, added tanks and cleaning facilities
  • 2002, opening Transloading facility in Tillsonburg. Adding more trucks and tankers to fleet.
  • 2003, continually adding more trucks and tankers to the fleet
  • May 2006 – Long Haul Division sold to Contrans/Laidlaw
  • Nov 2006 – Passed an initial Responsible Care Audit from customer, obtaining excellent marks
  • Dec 2006 – Achieved 98% on AWASA Audit at Rail facility
  • Jan 2007 – expansion at Rail Yard commenced
  • Purchase of 6 additional acres from the town of Tillsonburg
  • Construction of Brine generator facility
  • Construction of Waste transfer station
  • April 2007 –additional expansion of Rail Operations
  • Purchased an additional 10 acres from the Town of Tillsonburg
  • Plans in place to construct a dry bulk operation on the south side of property
  • Obtained Storm Water Management Approval form the Ministry of the Environment
  • May 2007 – additional expansion of Rail Operations
  • Submitted final draft for Waste Transfer Approval
  • Commenced track construction
  • Erected security fence around new property boundaries at rail facility
  • Obtained Storm Water Management Approval from MOE
  • Obtained Waste Disposal (Transfer) Approval from MOE
  • June 2007
  • Laid new rail ties and track inside of Waste Transfer facility
  • Poured concrete to complete Waste Transfer Facility

  • In 2000 obtained ISO 9002 certification
  • In 2002 obtained ISO 9001:2000 certification
  • In 2003 we became FAST/CSA approved carriers
  • In 2003 we have cleared all HM232 requirements
  • AWSA Approved warehouses
  • Licensed Mechanic on staff
  • Motor Vehicle Inspection Station
